First sit of the year
« on: October 24, 2020, 10:24:50 AM »
I finally got out to the blind this morning, the wind was almost perfect...right around 7 I heard leaves rustling and a mature doe and two yearlings made their way down the trail at about 15 yards. As I was scanning for other movement, I heard leaves crunching behind me, there really isn’t a run as it’s very thick but as fate would have it a big old doe was successful in figuring me out! She snuck in and positioned herself downwind and picked me out, snorted and stomped and they all walked off. It was a nice sit and I’m always amazed at the intelligence these animals have. Tomorrow is another day and with a drop in temps tonight and a better wind, hopefully will be productive. Wishing everyone happy and healthy hunts.

I'd make it a point to air out that doe.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.
