Black Widow PCH and KB

How do you Widow owners like your PCH and KB(one piece version)? In search of 58" or 60" shorter hunting bow that's stable and forgiving without the length of my many 64-66" longbows and recurves. I like the idea of the shorter riser, longer limbs of the PCH and KB.
Have you Widow owners owned longer Widows with longer risers and can offer a comparison to the PCH or KB?

Haven't had much experience with the pch although a buddy of mine does have one. What little I have shot it it seems like a good shooter..I have a kb along with a PSA and.i love them both the kb is a 58 inch I have a actual 28 1/2 draw length and have no issues with it at all. It's a smooth draw and a quick bow with no shock or anything very quiet also..can be said for the pch of my buddies only difference is the mass weight of the one piece vs the take down...that's a personal preference.

I have both and they are my preferred Widows. Both are 58”,  I have a 29” draw.

I’m in the stand right now with my 58” PCH. Mine is a takedown and I wouldn’t change a thing. I leave it strung all the time and it gets pretty banged up in the woods. I’m thinking about getting it refinished this winter.

I've shot a KB the past 5 years.  I really like it, but I probably don't have the same
experience with multiple bows like some here.  It seems smooth, quiet and fairly forgiving to me. 

I went with the KB simply because I like the trad look of a non-takedown.  When they asked if I was sure I didn't want the flexibility and repair options of the take down, I figured (for what I was paying...which is a LOT to me) that bow would
either go to a son, or die like a warrior.  I have no
complaints at all so far.

I had a 60” pch that was [email protected]. I draw closer to 32. It was the smoothest stick bow I’ve shot.  Most bows really stack at that draw. The only reason I got rid of it was it had the Asbell grip and I struggled with it.  Sold it to A neighbor and he has won several shoots with it. He draws 30”.

I own a 1987 HS60 60” Black Widow Takedown and a 54”KB drawn to 27-5/8” ish... Every Widow I’ve shot has been instantly spot on for me, but the 54” KB is a natural born killer.... So nimble in tight quarters or in the tree-stand and the long working limbs are smooth as silk. I will be getting a PCH someday and I’ve shot several of them. These too are awesome but I recommend you consult the Draw Length recommendations. I’m on the fence of a 54” or 56” PCH as there’s a slight difference KB to PCH. The 54” KB is a little smoother than a 54”PCH. You’ll need to decide what’s best for you and meets your goals but they are both dreamy...

I've never been a Widow guy.  Love the Toelke longbows, but...  A friend said it'd be interesting to see what id do with a bow with more mass weight.  Well i got a great deal on the perfect PCHX 56" 40@28.  This bow is hard to put down.  Its very stable in the hand--- the extra mass weight makes it very easy to shoot accurately.  It tunes very quickly and is very quiet.  I took my first "recurve" doe with it this year after taking many w longbows.
The PCHs are great bows and i have gravitated to the 56" length as i shoot them well and they are easier for me to manuever in the tree or in the blind.

I have a 60” PCH 43# @ 28” and my DL is 29.5.  It’s smooth and doesn’t stack.  As others have stated, it performs well and the mass weight makes for some nice shooting.  I was amazed when I test drive the bow, how it felt and shot with my longer DL.  Good luck!
