Catquiver mini and long arrows
«

I bought a cat mini after I got my longbows, cause I love the feel of a bare longbow. Anyway, I shoot 31.5 inch arrows with either Zwickey deltas or Snuffer 160s. Well problem is, I have the mini all stretched out, and still have quite a time getting my arrows in. Its quite a squeeze, and getting arrows out is not as easy as it should be. Anyone else have this problem, and what did you do to fix it??

Yep. I cut a piece of aluminum and replaced the "spine" on the quiver. It made my arrows fit (32") but is too flimsy now and while they won't fall out, the position of the broadheads changes as the quiver flexis. Something stiffer (and heavier) would most likely work but instead I had Great Northern make me a longer side quiver that works fine.

I cut a piece of Aluminum bar stock just like Biggie, except I just used a smaller piece as an extension.I overlaped them a good bit in the middle and put a couple extra bolts at the ends.Mine is doubled to within a couple inches of each end.
I guess the doubled piece is stiffer than the one Biggie altered.Mine works fine.

I elongated the slot on the plastic hood. Makes it so you can slide the two screws down further. My arrows are 31 3/8 long and it works great. Hope this helps.
