Interesting stuff about bamboo.  I'm fighting the urge to build a boo backed bow.

Maybe Roy will do another build along and get us all fired up!  :)

I hear Roy ordered some .050 glass and a paint kit to make it look like bamboo... :biglaugh:

They were in lakewood NJ Roy-

Yeah I spent a lot of time using and understanding quality boo.....especially learning to properly temper it.

Are you talking about tempering the belly slat on a BBB?
Tell us how you do it?

Well I asked for advice and didn't take it. I ordered from Frank's. I think I'll pull that order.

I had good luck with Cali. Never a failure. I did learn how to pick the good ones. If you look at the end of a slat, notice the outer shell. If it is thick it will fail. Thin to win.

I am waiting on a PayPal credit from Frank's

Just to update, I placed an order with Frank's paid with PayPal. 30 minutes later I emailed him twice to cancel the order. I just got a shipping notice from FedEx that the boo is on the way. I hope he get's up tomorrow and does the right thing.
