Birth Of A Shrew

         Birth of a SHREW

The love of the bow came early to me
I was still sitting on my father's knee
My mother was reading about Robin Hood
so the love of the bow I understood

All through my life the passion was with me
A better hunting bow was all I could see
every day the bow was what I thought about
I kept thinking and trying to figure it out

A forward handle, less torque and less stack
short riser, short limbs, now we're on track
What shall we call this unique little bow
A great hunting bow it'll be, this we know

Small and quick and it points where you look
A killing machine like the critter in a book
There's only one name for this bow that will do
like the ferocious little mammal, the killer.. the SHREW

We live in the present, we dream of the future, but we learn eternal truths from the past
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.
Life is like a wet sponge, you gotta squeeze it until you get every drop it has to offer

Before my walk is through
I'm gonna own me a nice little Shrew
I'll shoot it each and every day
And rarely put it away

Better get one while I'm still strong
For in the tooth I'm getting long
I'll try to take it to the grave
But my son may rescue it, if brave

Thanks Ron . . .
