Easter egg hunt
« on: December 24, 2020, 08:29:59 AM »
I'm not sure if this happens to others, but I seem to be doing more and more hiding and hunting for my own Easter eggs.  Recently found some first run broadheads that I thought may have been traded away (need to hunt these), bunch of backpacking gear (some needs to be sold), and most recently a half dozen footed Cedar arrows spined 74-77# weight range 662-690 grains.  Put a Snuffer 160 on and initial couple shots seem to show good flight.  Feels almost like Christmas!!!

Yep,  Me too.  Mine is mostly because I have so much crap in one little place.  Just remembered a riser I have and for the life of me can't remember where its at. LOL  Stuff gets put in a tote or shoved in a corner and is forever lost.  When I kick the bucket they will just be shaking there head saying OMG!

LOL!! I bought a decent rain coat and pants for a turkey hunt in Nebraska back in 2009. Came home from the hunt and packed them in one of my hunting totes with some other odds and ends. A few years ago I started looking for the rain suit in my hunting totes and it was no where to be found. Thought maybe I'd loaned it out.
Two years ago on the weekend after Thanksgiving I was getting my wife's Christmas decoration totes out of the pole barn and moving them up to the house. There was one tote that wasn't marked...she is very organized and marks everything. Opened it up and there was my rain gear, a couple or camo shirts, a hat and my spare compass!
Merry Christmas!

It's always a treasure hunt around here when I start cleaning my hunting gear room.

In my case, it's usually I need something that I know I have; Call it 'item x'.
Item x is nowhere to be found and after much searching & gnashing of tusks, a replacement is obtained.
New item x is used and then a good place to store it needs to be decided on.
How about right here on the shelf .................. right next to the one that I was looking for in the first place !!!
