Is black diamond wood any good for a three piece bow riser.I know it has good mass weight,but what about everything else?

I think it depends on where you get it. I got some from Rosewood and it was junk and he admit having trouble with it.
The frogwood high density stuff Dymalux may be better.
The plus to Frogwood is you dont have to buy the whole panel.

You dont want anything high density you will get surface checks later .

Tim first I have heard of that. I would consider HD a bit brittle but a lot of risers out there made of HD stuff
