Welcome to the forums! For gear, you should take a look at 3 Rivers Archery. They have a “new to trad archery” tool that takes the info you put in and gives you a new bow package that gives you pretty much everything you need to get started. For about $430, you’ll get a takedown recurve (if it’s not a Samick Sage, it looks a lot like one) with the weight of limbs appropriate to your archery experience, string, stringer, string silencers, quiver, arm guard, shooting glove, 6 carbon arrows, field points, and broadheads. The arrows and points/broadheads will be close to what you would need for tuning purposes as far as spine, length, and point weight go. You might be able to find all of this cheaper by piecing stuff together, but 3 Rivers will take care of you!
Besides that, I would suggest looking up resources on how to shoot a traditional bow (there are plenty here!), maybe consider getting a shooting tab as well as a shooting glove and see what you like better, don’t be afraid to start shooting close to the target (5 yards or less), and before you fall down the rabbit hole of arrow tuning, make sure your form is spot on.
Don’t be afraid of asking questions here and good luck with it! There’s nothing quite like taking game with a trad bow!!
