Black Widow KB
« on: December 30, 2020, 04:52:43 PM »
Who is shooting a Black Widow KB?  I would like to know your likes and dislikes.  Several years back, I bought a new PCH and really liked it but wish I would have opted for a few pounds lighter.  This time I am eye balling the KB.  At my 28 inch draw, I am leaning toward a 58 inch bow 40@28.  Just wanted some insight on the bow.

I’m a Black Widow fan so there’s the disclaimer... I absolutely love my 54”KB @53lbs. I have a 27-5/8” Draw length and it’s smooth as silk. I hedged to the 54” because I wanted the most nimble unit possible out of tree stands & ground blinds. No regrets what so ever. It’s a natural born killer and I’m so thankful to the Black Widow folks who made it for me... I love the PCH too and I will get one soon. I’ll either get the 54” or might slide to the 56”. The KB is a little smoother with longer working limbs per model due to riser/sight window cut being shorter. If you can live with the short sight window the KB is a dream bow... 58” is plenty long for smoothness. The Black Widow folks will be happy to consult for your good. Give’em a call :goldtooth:

Can't help ya on the KB part, however I did just bring home a new PSAX a couple weeks ago in 40#, roughly 42 or so at my draw. I love it.

Good luck, I don't think you can go wrong with a Widow

Coach..I have a kb with my 28 1/2 " draw length I'm shooting 51 lbs. I have found it to very smooth and a hard hitting bow. It's very quiet unless you do what did for awhile...I shoot woods and carbons out of it without any real difference. Mine is also a 58" I don't think you will be disappointed in it at all...

I am going to call Monday and see what the wait time is.  If I order it will be a 58 inch KB 40@28 Autumn Oak.

I’ve been shooting a KB since 2012 and I love it. The only issue that I have is that I travel a lot to hunt and it’s not as easy to pack as my PCH. If that’s not an issue, go for the KB.
