1.4 at the widest part
at only 50" and 70#, that's quite impressive!

what is the core wood/materiel?

I keep hearing about core failure on glass bows or crushing, but never see anything. :dunno:

Who has a fiberglass bow that has set in the limbs?

I guess there are guys who build bows that like to see some set happen. I believe from what I have read, some Hill styles are probably stressing the core more than someone looking for speed would be happy with.

I'm just trying to establish a stress limit for cores when doing designs....
measure twice, cut once,  that sort of thing.

will
I think the main thing is fades, alot of guy's fades are .062 at 1" and .130ish at 2", I think for a shorter bow (less than 56") needs thinner and longer fades. less stress at the fades.
That T/D above had .036 butt taper rate with 3-1/2" of fades from the riser most of it bends.
I don't think core wood is a issue, any typical core wood will be fine.

Flem here is the guy that draws 36" + halfseminole

Using the wingspan to draw length calculator in reverse, this guy would have a 7'8" wingspan for a 36" draw. Not many guys under 7' tall have that much wingspan!

We did the first WTT in the mid 2000’s at my friend Steve’s house in California. We had a few in Wisconsin after that. It was a lot of fun and alot of good ideas were shared back then.
