Dean Torges has a nifty pictorial about building kid's rattan bows.  I think I need to make up one for my grandson!

I like Dean's deal, i would rather put some glass on it but my 5 and 3 year old are going to love painting their"own" bow Indian style!...Plus gives me time to tweak my "Little Rooter" 48" longbow design. Rattan? where ole where?

Here's how I make mine.  Back them with fiberglass drywall tape, old blue jeans, etc.  Or don't back them at all if it is some denser red oak.
