Pictures needed
« on: April 28, 2008, 05:50:00 PM »
Can someone please post some pictures of properly attached snuffers on the broadhead adaptors.  They don’t seem to fit over the whole adaptor and I’m beginning to think this is normal.

I’m using standard long aluminum adaptor, 42 grains and 100 grain heads.  I did just stick one on an adaptor and screw it into a shaft and it spun true so I think that is a plus, it just didn’t cover the whole adaptor.  Is there another 100 to 110 grain head I should try, I’m looking for 150 grains finished.  I think I can find some 100 grain Grizzlies at a local shop, at least they were there last month.

Thanks,

Josh

I think they make 2 lengths of adapters and it sounds like you may need the shorter ones. If the ones you have still fly good then you could stick with them.

They seem to center themselves very well in the ferrule of the broadhead they just seem a bit long, I’ll post some pictures when I get home tonight to show what I mean.  I thought you could use either the long or the short with the 100 gr snuffers, just depended on what you wanted the overall weight to be.  I may look at getting some WW also.

I’ll also check with Magnus’s website to see.

Thanks,

Josh
