I have a squirrel brain so always leave my phone in the truck. I miss out on a lot of pictures because of that.

Bunch of squirrel heads had HC course backed up for hours on Thurs. Had seven shootin in one group. Think it took 3.5hrs to shoot 25 targets cuz of that stuff. They had guys in that group who know better to do that when you had older foljs shooting in 90 degree weather. Not Kewl.

I have shot a lot of tournaments and noticed that two things will cause a log jam on the course, large groups and shooting two targets from the same stake.

Some large groups will step aside and let all the people waiting on them shoot through, some are too self-absorbed to notice that they are holding things up.

One time there was a group of 8 or 9 ahead of me, I asked politely if they would split into two groups to speed things up. When they noticed the backlog behind them they were very agreeable, apologetic and split up into two groups.

Sometimes you have to be the unofficial range master, if you smile and be very nice,(compliment them on their nice looking bows) people always comply.

Then there are the bone heads that will look for a lost arrow forever, those folk are an inconsiderate lost cause, polite suggestions don't work for them.

From Pappy....yes a great turn out, 751 total register, 410 on the Hunter Challenge side and 341 on the IBO side, some shot both and some just one or the other so total people was around 450 , so very big success for us. Had more self bows this year than ever which is good to see, the Arvin Weaver shoot down drew a bunch of shooters and a big crowd to watch, man some of them guy and gals can shoot that is for sure."    :archer2: :archer: :campfire: :clapper:

Had a female selfbow shootdown even. They peeled a $100 from the Men's Arvin for them which was nice to see. They going to have to do a FSB Class next year prolly.

Thurs and Fri were the biggest days with morning flights. Sat in middle of day you wouldn't have known the was a National Championship going on.

Hedge thanks for the help my friend. Had a good time at the IBO, and I even shot pretty good, looks like some of the fella's couldn't keep up with my pretty Hummingbird Longbow. To bad it might be a while fore I see you again. In the mean time keep building them Self Bows and stacking up them Deer. See ya down the road .

Have a new 40lb target bow that needs a shooter for Worlds 2022. Prolly could have sold a bunch there this year. Guys were hot for them HedgeHunter 67-69” rigs for some reason. Guy bought mine right outta my hand , 41@28” 68”. Fella was a teal good shooter.

Yeah, not sure where we get caught up? I just picked up another farm to hunt in West KY, 3500ac. I be really busy here out to Jan 25th 2022 or there abouts. Headed out west. Need to be back to get these wheat , radish food acres seeded in when corn is out.

Goona be a good whitetail year. Plenty rain has not been to hot. Best corn i seen in 20yrs here. Late beans are just up. Its lookin fantastic right now.
