For whatever it's worth, I just shot a 55/60 out of a 50# bow. Flew pperfectly and accurately. Was aiming at the light tan area.

I have seen this happen right here when guys wanted to go to cedar from carbon, my husband checks the bow, how they shoot and then goes to the dynamic chart and could care less what the carbon arrow was, more what broad head they intend to use.

All of this wood to carbon, carbon to wood, is apples & oranges IMHO :dunno:

I shot wood years ago. Then some glass, then aluminum, carbons for about a year, (never liked them) went back to wood about 10 years ago. BTW, Terry was spot on!!! I shot 55-60# cedars out of all my 50# bows.

I dropped 10# in draw weight last year. Shoot 45-50# cedars, 29" BOP with a 28" draw.

If you get a set of correctly spined wood arrows for your bow weight, the odds are better than not,
they are gonna fly good....  :archer2:
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

May The Great Spirit Guide Your Arrows..... Happy Hunting!!!
