**Old Schafer bow **
« on: April 30, 2008, 01:15:00 PM »
I found this picture the other day. It was taken April 11,1980. This was about a year after we got the bow. They were taken in Nebraska.  The Schafer bow is a 64# one piece and both turkeys were shot with wood arrows and 2 blade zwickey heads. The picture says it was shot at 51 yards. Kind of neat to find these old pictures

Yea still have the bow and stll is painted. Over the years the bow has lost a few # but other than that still shoots good. Right now I am working on a Savage Deathmaster by trying to clean off a couple layers of paint on that one too.
