« on: November 18, 2021, 02:07:54 PM »
This will be for core lambs. I saw the millyard had both? Which is preferred for lam cores on a laminated bow?

I use hard maple, it should be stiffer.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Hard Maple is the stuff for sure, but some of the other Maples are fine lam woods also. The only one I did not think was any good is Norway Maple. Bue might disagree :biglaugh:

Out west, Big leaf and Mountain Maple make good bow wood.
