Blacktail Glove

I'm always on the hunt for a new glove. My favorite is Neet calf hair. They wear out so quickly though. They used to $12 but have gone up to $22.
I had never seen a glove like this one. It's more expensive at $34 but looks like high quality and should last.

I like the way they folded a piece of the leather from the finger back over the top. Looks like it should provide a smooth path for the string to slide over.

I agree McDave. I have seen gloves that have finger stalls like this, but then they don't tie in on the top the way this one does. It's the only one I've seen like this.
I just shot it some it's taking a little time. I guess because it's such a different feel than the calf hair.

It can feel funny and awkward when going from tab to glove or glove to tab.I have gone back and forth a few times between the methods.Give it some time and it should start to feel more natural. Some prefer the glove and some prefer the tab.Give it some time and see how it shakes out for you!
The BT gloves do look very very nice and of the highest quality.I think they offer a few different gloves in different price ranges.

I love my Blacktail Sitka, but my favorite glove (and I've tried a bunch) is Black Widow's Sticktite glove. Very reasonably priced too. Actually have three different from BW and like them all.
