Wanted to give some public praise to the gang at Black Widow.
I sent my PSA III off to get repaired, refinished and have snake skins added (if I’m getting it refinished thought I might as well get her some fancy clothes). This bow is now 13 years old. I won’t go into the exact details but it has had a rough couple of years …accidents and incidents beyond my control (I take care of my weapons). This bow should have bit the dust; lesser bows would have and a few did. It’s short of a miracle….even for a robust and well built bow like a Black Widow..that it’s still in my hands and functional.
It came back to me looking like a brand new bow. I mean if it wasn’t for the date on the bow (was a wedding gift) and the color of the “coin” …no one on earth would be able to tell the difference between this bow and a new Black Widow of the same make/configuration. The fit, finish and attention to detail are second to none. Due to the repairs needed…the amount is sanding, etc…she came back one pound less in draw weight. No problem, no issue. The snake skins look amazing…would recommend adding skins to anyone with an “autumn oak” or “ grey bark” Black Widow who is considering it.
