Folks thank me all the time. I really appreciate it, I truly do!!

But for me.... Today I spend thinking of the poor souls who never made it back home.
Or, all the ones who came home, just a piece of what they were when they left.....

Maybe it's me. I just don't feel worthy of "thanks".... I was lucky.

God Bless all of my fallen and broken Brothers and Sisters.

You are right woodchucker Many of us spent time in the service of our country, but the ones who lost their lives are the ones we owe so much. Also, those who came back with terrible scars on their bodies and minds, they need our help. God bless them and their families. We don't deserve them.

I'm not sure we will ever be able to adequately express our appreciation for what the veterans have done for all of us, so hopefully a simple, "Thank you" will suffice. In addition, although a day late, "Happy Birthday" to all Marines.
