Bush,first of all hat off for your decision to hunt them with your bow only then to pass a decent whitetail deer waiting maybe for next year and finally for your Axis doe. Thanks guys! I have the skin in the freezers and it will go to the tannery just like every axis I have killed in the past. The tanned hides make great area rugs in our house.

The hit on this one was perfect left and right, but just a tad high. The 1.5” GK head did a number on both lungs. The broadhead stopped in the offside shoulder just short of the skin. There was no exit hole.

I worked in Texas for a summer about ten years ago. It was weird driving around out in the country and seeing exotics running free on occasion. Must be fun sitting out and not knowing what may show up.
