Paracord sheath works as well or better than anything I've spent my money on over the years, and costs pennies.

There is a school of thought that adding anything to your bow will in some way, sometimes big sometimes small, effect its efficiency.
Is your bow / arrow set up properly tuned.
Brace height , right string strands/ length, arrow weight.
All these will effect bow noise and hand shock.
Do you know if your bow a dynamic tip or static ?
 Can effect noise too.
I personally use a small tuffed of lambs wool top n bottom on my strings, I just do! but my bows are nearly silent without any silences just because I spent a lot of time tinkering with set ups.
 YMMV
  Keep playing.good luck.

How do you do make the silencers with paracord sheath?  I've got tons of the stuff but I don't know how to make silencers out of it.

Have you heard the tradlab podcast on silences? Very informative. I'm a Howard hill fan and never noticed any in pictures.
Pray like Tuck and shoot like Robin.
