Haha are you saying the super d is more durable than the whip? I guess I assumed since it was longer than the whip, and just looks so slender in pics, that the opposite was true

The Super D is unquestionably more durable than the Whip. You could probably use it as a spear if you had to. Not even joking

You have such high praises for the Super D, I’m surprised you ever let it go! Those recurves must be really special too. You’ve got me thinking on the Super D now, thanks a lot! Haha. Being a long draw lefty sure hurts the second hand bow options.

I still have one Super D but I think I need to send it in to have the weight taken down a touch. It is a great ASL!

Chinook here.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

LoneWolf73, I’d love to try or get a chinook. I think it’s just a bit short for me draw length though. If he makes a 62” chinook ever I’d be very interested. I would still get a 60” I think at some point if I found one used at the right price.

And ESP, Dan told me they’re 5-6 months out! I know that is very long for them. But I know he can tend to get the bow to you faster than he tells you too.

If Dan and Jared are 5-6 months behind then they must be BUSY!!!!! Since I have been aquatinted with them in 2011, they have always been 4-5 weeks out.
