Unexpected guest last night....

So the wife and i are going to bed and getting ready to read, when i realize "Crap" it's trash day tomorrow and i didnt bring out the bins and since they come early i need to do it now. So i go ahead and put my Ugg boots on a throw on some pants and head out. About three paces outside there comes this loud "XXXIITCHT" or something like that to my immediate right, so i just about jump out of my boots     and look over at this Doe not 10 feet away giving me the up and down "what the heck is that"  :eek:   look. I dont know who was more scared at the moment but i'll tell Ya, when it's pitch black and a Deer yells at you point blank, that scared the Stuff right outta me for sure.
   Just had to share my suprise.....

Must  of scared her too!   To my knowledge they don't do the cry I think you are talking about unless extremely scared or in pain.  I have only heard it once.  You do a double take and ask yourself, did that really come from a deer?

Yeah that cry was very weird, thats the first i've ever heard it too. Must have scared her pretty good. Funny as All when i think back to it, here's this guy prepping for next season and there i am jumpin outta me boots cause of a Doe    . Thats a good one..

I have had similar things happen. It gets much worse when you hear jaws poppin' and realize you are a few feet away from a black bear...Then they jump out of the tree(over your head) and you screech like a school girl and RUN so fast back into the house that you need to regroup to rescue your slippers. Man my wife laughed for weeks. She still tells that story whenever she can.

Alright it's true, i had bunny slippers on....

So my wife calls me the "Great white hunter" She tells everyone...LOL, it's pretty hilarious.
