Searching for an old thread
« on: December 23, 2021, 08:45:37 AM »
Several years back a fellow tradganger posted about hunting and spotting an injured fawn struggling to exist. He desperately tried to end the fawns suffering with a well placed arrow. I remember this story every deer season and have tried to find it with the search feature without success. This story embodies the true nature of what I define as a hunter.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

No. Not that one.

This one was a heartfelt story of the fawn being injured and it getting away from the hunter and the hunter desperately trying to get close enough for a shot. He got alot of ribbing from his hunting buddies for killing such a small deer until they heard why. Then they all understood. Quite the somber story. Well told and lengthy post.

Thanks for trying Rob. I have tried to find it again and again without luck.
