Whisperstik Mojostik Report
« on: May 02, 2008, 09:58:00 PM »
This bow is terrible...I haven't done this in years and this is the second time in three days.  It's tearing up my expensive arrows.  Please everyone do not buy one of these bows for it will keep costing you money.

In all seriousness, I haven't shot this consistent in...well ever. Shooting 18 yards out through basement door into garage.

This little bow is amazing.

Yeah Mark I think that's a good idea. You're right I'm afraid the deer are going to take it pretty hard this season.

Tom,

just got a 58" 55#@28 Mojo this week. Cocobolo riser w/ Osage flares. Cocobolo limb veneeers and bamboo cores. Very nice shooting bow, I had demo'd a 56", and was equally as pleased with it.
It's a sleeper waking up quick. JD is a great fellow to deal with, and putting out a heck of a bow...... Froggy

Bentpole, It's not me I swear its this bow. I'm a terrible shot, my form is terrible. Years of bowfishing and shooting at moving fish at half draw has ruined my form. This bow just hits where I'm looking. It would be scary to see what one of these bows would do in the hands of a great archer.

This bow came with a solid rest/plate patch material. I have done this to all my recurves. I am in no way an expert but this little trick has helped me be able to achieve perfect arrow flight out of all my recurves.

I like to cut my arrow rest and the plate patch to where the down fletching can go through a channel keeping it from the fletching pushing out and away from the bow during the shot and it will also help with excessive fletching wear.

To help with windage I like to cut a toothpick or thin piece of plating material and stick it behind the plate patch.  You can adjust this from thin to thick moving your shaft from left to right.
