Tradtional Only BAREBOW Shaft Successes?
« on: March 02, 2022, 08:46:03 AM »
Someone asked on the other 8 page 'Denny' thread and I'm starting this one so the question doesn't get lost in the shuffle....

I'm working on some for Denny now and if you have killed anything with one of these shafts please post up here... Thanks.....

Been shooting them out of my Super Shrew and Centaur pretty hard and am very pleased with them.  They seem pretty darn tuff as I shoot 'stuff' more than flat targets... i.e. pine cones, mushrooms, dandelions, leaves, dirt clods, shadows etc. etc...

I'll be back with Denny's.... or Ms Denny's I should say.....

The Traditional only Barebow is an Easton Axis Traditional rebranded for 3Rivers.
I would shoot them if they ever come off backorder. I really like the Easton Axis Traditional. Very tough arrow.

I really enjoyed my fall with them. Loved the axis out of my compound and thought I’d get these a go out of my PLX. Same great strength and they’re easy to spot!!  I used a Zwickey no mercy single bevel on my 2 deer. My best bow buck and a button I thought was a doe. The buck I hit him at maybe 11 yards right in the pocket. Throughout the heart and broke his off leg on top of the knuckle. Bounced back in after it was broken when he started to plow immediately. The BB I shot at about 6 feet. Down through 2 ribs with a pass thru. Neither went 80 yards after the shot.
