Morrison Shawnee brace height help
« on: February 27, 2022, 10:57:15 AM »
Does anyone remember what Bob's brace height recommendations were on his Shawnee with recurve and longbow limbs. Trying to develop a good setup for my wife's bow. It's a Shawnee A riser with "A" recurve limbs 56" and "B"" longbow limbs 58".

According to a chart I printed off of Bob's website long ago, the brace height for an A riser Shawnee and B (56-inch) and C (58-inch) limbs is 6 1/2 to 7 inches. It does not specify longbow vs. recurve limbs. A limbs are specified as making a 54-inch bow on the A riser. Recommended brace height is still the same -- 6 1/2-7 inches.
