Yes but, as thin as we are using it would be better.
But it sounds like Hickory is not the wood to use.
I would rather fail at something above my means, than to succeed at something  beneath my means

That is interesting stuff Max. Cold pressed vs hot pressed. I’ve never seen it used in construction, but I’ll bet those beams are heavy.    Kirk
