Help for Twisted Limb

New to this forum and looking for help.  I recently received a beautiful emerald green Bear Kodiak recurve bow from the 1960s via an estate sale, and unfortunately it has a twisted limb.  I am completely new to the world of bows and am looking for a professional in either the Eastern Washington, North Idaho, or Western Montana who has the skill to fix it.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks!

Do you have photos of the bow?  Sometimes these can be straightened out with a hair drier or hot water fairly easily. Sometimes the tip notches need some fine tuning.    Kirk

If it has belly string groove and the string is not laying in it after it is shot try the heat first. Holding it the other way untill it cools. May take more than one try.
I had one that the heat would fix for awhile then it went right back to twisted so does not work always.

I have straightened several vintage bears.
I twist the opposite way and hold for couple minutes while strung at brace height.
Leave it strung and do this 3 or 4 times a day.

Leaving it strung holds the set. After day 2, I leave it strung for one more day. Then recheck.
This has fixed 2 Bears  that were about 52 years old.

Never had to resort to heat or hair dryer. Just held an opposite twist while strung up fir about 2 minutes each time.

Done it that way with Martin Hunter. No heat but had to keep doing it ever so often.
But expect all mileage varies
