North Carolina Mountain Turkey
« on: April 18, 2022, 08:53:55 AM »
Good morning, fellas! Haven't been around here much lately, life has just gotten a lot busier these days. I did luck into a couple lonely longbeards on the 2nd day of our turkey season here in North Carolina, and was happy to bring one home. I thought I'd share the story and a couple of pictures. I'm trying my best to learn how to tell stories with a camera lens, hopefully it does a good job of that. Also pictured is my favorite thing in this world, my 6 month old baby girl, Clementine.

Hope y'all are having a great spring!

That's the way to get it done, Dalton!

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

That's a happy man right there and for all the right reasons   Enjoy every second,  little ones grow too fast.  Before you know it she'll be 9 like mine and camo head to toe,  waiting in the blind with ya!......but don't rush it.
Beautiful bird brother,  congrats  :clapper:

Very nice! I have had no luck with turkeys. I can't seem to call one in to save my life! Had hens in range but no Toms....Tom's....

Where in NC do you live? I live in Waynesville.

Very nice Dalton!  Congrats.  Love the pics with the little one.  My little boy wasn't nearly as enthusiastic about the bird I got the other day.

Very well done, all the way around. Congrats!
I’m going to have to try that with my bow. Took one with a shotgun years ago but this looks like more fun.

Pretty dang good video and a great shot!  Congratulations!
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.
