Limb weight is specified for a certain draw length, usually 28”, and a certain riser length, which as not as standard as the 28” draw length, so you have to ask when you buy the limbs. Generally, limb weight increases about a pound for each inch the riser length is reduced, and decreases about a pound for each inch the riser length is increased.
So if a set of limbs is rated as 45# @ 28” on a 19” riser, they should be about 47# @ 28” on a 17” riser. Of course, limb weight can also be adjusted up or down by a few pounds by adjusting the limb bolts on the riser, provided they aren't already maxed or minimized out.
