What is your best technique for removing decals on Easton Axis Tradional without damaging the wood grain looking coating?

Can't speak to axis trads but I've used acetone to take decals off GT Trads and it didn't affect the fake wood grain. It must have a sealcoat over it.

I shoot Axis Traditionals out of one of my bows and take the decal off of all of mine. Just a rag and some acetone will do the trick, though it'll take a bit of rubbing to get it all off. The only things that don't come off are the spine measurement and the ID number because they're actually engraved in the woodgrain finish.

If its a stick-on decal, the contact adhesive should release with a little heat from a heat gun or hair dryer.
