Some Special Arrows
« on: April 13, 2022, 06:05:05 PM »
Greetings,
When the mailman showed up today there were a dozen and a half very special arrows included.  I ordered these a few months ago, full well knowing it would take a while but also knowing they would be worth the wait. Normally, I build my own arrows but every now and then I’ll order a few from Suzanne St. Charles at Northwest Archery. And each time I do, she signs a single arrow…most likely one that never will be loosed from a bow. And each time I get these gems I’m reminded of some of the legends who enriched our sport. In this case of course, Glenn St, Charles, Suzanne’s father.

Nice!  Putting that nice a signature on that shaft is crazy tough too.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Beautiful arrows. I almost went with Susan’s arrows a few months ago. The St Charles family name runs deep in the traditional archery society. Think I’ll order a dozen from her next season. I’ve heard nothing but excellent stuff about her arrows. Functional works of art.

Thanks for posting that .....  exactly the kinda stuff we need on a regular basis around here I feel.  Hard ties and reminders of the legends and their legacies that paved the very way for this bow hunting thing that we love so dearly and has influenced and shaped our own lives into the people we are today.......all hopefully passing as much on as we can to the youngsters and others,  keeping it all very much alive and well
Beautiful arrows btw

Not only is Suzanne a fine arrow smith, she is also a very fine gal. We have been friends for over 50 years and I have a good collection of her beautiful arrows in the man cave. She also makes a stunning collection of Good Medicine Arrows that are true works of art.
