Had a Superior, Baraga, Classic, and 2 Whispers, still have the Whispers but all were and are great shooting bows.

Loving my new to me Baraga and placed my order this week for a Ramer.

I ordered a Sprague at the Kalamazoo Expo. 66", 47#@28". Shot two of them while there. A 55#, and a 48#, both 66". Now just waiting patiently.

I have a Baraga, 2 Ramers, and a Whisper.....fantastic bows. The quality of Steve's bows is impeccable.

Sorry to hear about your buddy. I'm pretty sure in heaven they have Northern Mists up there too....
The American is a fine bow. I own one too. Take care. Good shooting!
