Easton Legacy insert problem

i recently bought  18 of the Easton Legacy arrows. Im wondering what you guys are using to glue the brass inserts in. I dont want to use super glue, etc. until Im done tuning. Ive always used Bohning ferrell tight with good success. But the brass inserts are not holding in these shafts. any advice? I have a stick of Easton hot glue stick. Never used it. thanks in advance.

I use or Kimsha hot melt or some people say Big Jim's,they both look the same to me,but they really hold,and you can heat them up and they come right out.

Thanks guys. I used the Easton hot glue stick my son bought, and it holds great. I'll keep an eye out for the Kimsha.

Big Jim's hot melt works great on aluminum, carbon, and wood. Easy to use and he has a video on it.

My Big Jims hot melt came in a small cupcake size.Its a good way to apply and lasts along time.Also good for 2 blade glue on heads etc

Plus 1 on the Kimsha..... I use a big 300 gr field point as a handle.... lightly screw the insert on the point,  heat the glue slug,  wipe a small smear of hot glue on the insert,  touch that to the flame again briefly then into the shaft and a quick turn,  wipe the excess.  To remove an insert,  I screw in that point, lightly heat the point so the heat transfers to the insert,  all while maintaining a little pulling pressure so the insert will come out the instant the glue is soft enough to let it.  I never get the carbon hot this way (it experiences minimal heat with never any contact with the flame)

Glad you found something that works.  Another option could be glue in the insert with the super glue or epoxy, and then pull the nock and trim from the back for tuning.   As well, depending on what brass insert you are using, it could be compatible with one of the weight systems which allow fine tuning by adding weights inside the arrow.
