When I was a kid, We tent camped in my uncle's woodlot on his farm every summer for our family "vacation"...
He had cut & baled the hayfield next to it, and there was a woodchuck hole about 100yds out in the field.
It's always fun to just launch arrows, and I spent about a week launching arrows at that chuckhole...
I found that if I held the tip of my arrow on a certain bush in the pasture behind it,
I could pretty much drop an arrow right on it, pretty much every time.
My cousin who was a year younger than me came down for a visit, and asked if I had brought my rifle? (a .243)
Why? I asked... He said that there was a woodchuck in the field, and it was a "dead-nuts" shot.
I grabbed my bow and 1 arrow, and told him I was going to go shoot it. He laughed!!
I saw that the woodchuck was only about 5' from the hole... I drew back, held the tip of the Razorhead right next to the edge of the bush, and let the string slip..... Now, I knew I was gonna be close....
We watched the arrow fly through the air, and start to drop...
Into what soon turned into a rolling, squeeling, whistlepig!!!
