Howdy,
What are your thoughts on leaving a couple BBOs at a cabin during the winter? I will be retiring soon and plan on spending a lot more time at the cabin and wanted to get into shooting these bows more. I'll be there during the winter but not all winter. North central PA so it gets pretty cold. I keep them unstrung and horizontal on the wall.

BBO = bamboo backed osage.
I don't think it would be a problem but that might depend on the glue used. It shouldn't adversely affect the boo or osage.

I would think they should be fine. I have 2 that are 20 years old and still doing fine.

Dave, it's crazy what we miss sometimes that's been around for years.... I've done it myself many times.

No problem with temperature in leaving it at your cabin. Don't know about your neck of the woods, but in mine, the bigger threat is cabin break-ins and theft.
