New Vortex
« on: May 08, 2008, 09:45:00 AM »
At last I got the new Vortex I ordered back in September!  It's got black glass/walnut limbs and leopardwood riser.  Looks pretty wicked!  Only problem is that it's too fast - I keep shooting over my target...

Only two weeks until the state shoot so get it tuned up and ready.  If you want to shoot without worring too much about neighbors come on over saturday and see if you can hit my new raccoon target.

Hows it going Joe ,
RER Vortex are awesome bows , one of the best out there . Raise your nocking point up as high as you need it with out losing good arrow flight and that will help with the shooting high . My Vortex seem to like a high nock point .

A perfect excuse to go to heavier arrows! Familiar flight, better penetration! Sweet bow - CONGRATS!!!

Beautiful bow, Joe.  Next to Osage, that's my favorite wood.
