Kwikee

Anybody use a Kwikee quiver on their recurve?
If so how do or did you like it ?

I used one years ago at times. I would detach it once I got to my blind.
I didn't care for it on my bow while shooting but that's just personal preference.
They are a proven design and function well.

I've got one on an older Hatfield recurve.  Works great buy wouldn't be my first choice unless planning to remove it while shooting.

It's all you need if you plan removing it while hunting but I prefer my Tbhnderhead Boa strap on if I'm hunting with a bow quiver.
But, that's just my preference.

I shoot a Galaxy sage so I am looking for a affordable option.
Doesn't make alot of sense to put a selway on it.

The Kwikie has been around a long time for a reason.
You don't have to spend a lot to get an item that is functional and will last.
I also have the same bow you have, it's another brand but same design.
It will shoot with just about anything out there..I have a custom bow also but Sage will do anything my custom will do.

That's what I use is a 4 arrow quiver.
I'm planning on using a piggy back so I can have 4 broadheads and 1 arrow with a judo point.

I have one that I use on one of my bows. I used to take it off when hunting because it rattled like crazy when I shot. Then I wrapped the end that slides into the receiver with hockey tape to make it a bit tighter fit and now it doesn't rattle at all and I don't mind shooting with it on

I use a three arrow kwikee that I converted to a five arrow, mount on bow with double sided gorilla tape, and yep in pink!

Not since they first came out. Mine came with no protective cover over the broad heads. I stabbed myself in the thigh and that was that. In fact, I have not used a bow mounted quiver since.

Yes, on some of my vintage bows. They just seem to “go” well with them. They do tend to throw the balance of the bow off a little and the hollow hood tends to be a little noisy on the shot so I usually take it off when I get set up too.

I believe I have 5 of them now.  They have to be one of the most versatile quivers made.  I have wrapped the cover with leather on a couple just to enhance the looks.  They can be clipped to bow, pack, chair, just about anywhere you wish.  If there is any downfall to them it's that they don't have a good system to strap one on a long bow.  Oh, I've filled all of mine with solid foam for the broadheads to fit down in.

I remember when they came out. Lots of guys put them on their compounds. I never cared for them. Grippers are too close to hood. And I never saw a need to have a bow quiver to take off in stand.

I tried one on my Southwest Archery recurve (same as Sage). It was loud and vibrated a ton. It's all plastic and the arrow gripper is too close to the hood. Maybe as a take off when on stand but it's garbage shooting with it on. The Selway (I now have two) is significantly better. I have the plastic hood quick detach model (55.00) so no need to spend 100+ for a better quiver.

I use Kwikee Kwivers on most of my recurves and I like them. I use the 3, 4, and 6 arrow Kwikee Kwivers. For bowhunting around home I like the 3 arrow Kwikee Kwiver best. The two buck pictures I was using the 3 arrow model.

I used one for a number of years and was great. My bows are not drilled so I attached using a AMS bowfishing attachment.

Always liked them,  now I modify to use with packs and my pac-seat.    Can be in your back pocket also.
