Hoyt buffalo xtra short limbs
« on: August 07, 2022, 05:12:17 AM »
Not sure if this is in the right place but? . I have a hoyt buffalo at 50 pounds medium limbs . Love it bit was considering a new bow given it might be difficult getting spare parts. Found a archery store with xtra short buffalo limbs at 40 lbs which is exactly what I wanted.  My question i will need another string for when it gets here but I cannot find anything on the extra short limbs to indicate thier length and what length string I would need for the 19 inch riser. Any ideas . How long are these limbs I can't find much about them . Ps it was a good price so I just bought them I can't see a lot of issues the buffalo is not known to stack I don't have a long draw

The chart below has the information you need.  The information given would be different for different riser lengths, so hopefully your 19” riser is the only one they made for this bow.  A 58” bow with a 19” riser will stack if your draw length is more than 28”, but you say you don't have a long draw, so hopefully this will work out for you.

In the future, questions regarding equipment should be posted in PowWow, but since I was curious and the information was easy to find, I went ahead and posted the answer here.
