what is your best elk hunting book of traditional bowhunting...i like learning threw peoples storys...

The one I've been writing for years...sorry can help ya with the readin part cuz it's still being written...just finished chapter 56 last Friday morning...hope to have many more chapters before it's printed  :bigsmyl:

Larry D. Jones had a few books and videos out. He bow hunted elk with a recurve.

thanks for the help guys..kopfjaeger,i dont think larry wrote any books just articals and his movies...and since i live in oregon i had the honor of meeting him 2 times...very humble guy...thanks for the help...

Not an answer to your question on books, but on YouTube the Rocky Mtn Elk Foundation uploaded Elk Fever, Elk Fever II, and Elk Fever III with Larry Jones and Dwight Schuh from 1986.  They are worth a look.

 The elk write a good book, the best elk hunters I know spent a lot of time out with the elk. Winter is a good time to read elk in eastern Oregon.  Western Oregon most likely has some good spots to glass and start reading the book. It's a blast.
