Dished or Straight grip ??
« on: November 07, 2022, 03:56:40 PM »
Well, I'm getting a tad keen on an ASL, so I'm looking for input from you learned ASL people, what are the pros and cons of the Dished Grip, and the Strsight grip?

Which do you prefer, and why?

I'm interested to hear your ideas and opinions.

Best

I have several of both and prefer the slightly dished grip myself.  It seems easier to duplicate the same grip to me.  However, I think grip size is way more important to me.  I have medium to small hands and the large grips just don't work for me.  Be careful! 1 leads to a whole rack full.

I kind of prefer the dished grip also although it really doesn't make me a lot of difference.  I also like a very narrow grip. It seems I torque it less.

I also feel that it makes no difference, yet I prefer the slight dish.

I  can shoot a straight (Hill), but prefer a dish.

I like a straight grip better, but size, shape, and hand position need to be right.
