I agree that there are better options on the market that have a sleeker “angle of attack” as Terry called it. But for whitetail I don’t worry about it. Deer aren’t built all that tough…. PERFECT arrow flight, hunting weight arrow setup, sharp broadhead, and you SHOULD shoot through deer with any cut-on-contact head. Shot placement matters too - drives me crazy when someone hits a deer in the ball joint and blames not recovering the critter on the broadhead.
Yes sir!!! I hunt a lot of areas that have deer and hogs, so that's what I based my answer on.
Deer are basically a paper grocery bag full of shaving cream, a few Tinker Toys, and one ball joint. Just stay away from the ball joint!
