for the memory of a friend ….
« on: February 02, 2023, 03:24:24 AM »
for the memory of Sid Ball from Border Archery in Scotland ….

I just made it back home from shooting arrows into the sky until I could not pull back the bow anymore because of shear exhaustion ….

Just took this Foto with tears in my eyes to say thank you for friendship and all what you’ve done for the archery world.

With love and respect to a friend and great archer.

Meet you on the other side …..

Until we meet again …

happy trails …
Daniel

My condolences.  That remembrance seems fitting.

May his memory be eternal.

May he rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon him.

It would seem we have lost a lot of true men in the archery world lately. May your friend rest in peace where the green fields and blue skies are full of game.

I callled Border with questions when I bought my Covert years back. Sid answered. It was as pleasant experience
as I've had. He had more questions about Wi. as I had about bows. Whenever I see the Border name, I think of
That conversation. What a gentleman.  The call went on way too long. Rest in peace  Sid

Another fine gentleman that I did not have the privilege of meeting this side of the vale.  RIP Sid.
