I recently shot a 60" Kota Prairie Swift. Really great shooting recurve, accurate, quiet and dead in hand after the shot. Any Swift owners out there to add comments.

I dont own one.I like that more 60s style riser on the Praire Swift.Nice looking bow!
For whatever reason Kota seems to get alot more attention with thier 50s style recurve the Kota Kill Um.Maybe the 50s style recurve is just more popular in general.Folks really like that Kota Kill Um in reviews of "Whats your Favorite 50s Style Recurve" threads. It comes up alot.
But I think the Praire Swift has the the same limb design with a different riser.Pretty sure but not positive.Should have a little more mass with a shapely grip and more sculpted riser.

I have always liked the look of the Swift and his 50 style recurves but haven’t actually seen or shot one in person . His prices are very reasonable from what I remember .
Love to see some posted here if anyone has any?

I owned a 55# Prairie Swift for a few years. Probably about ten years ago. I thought it was a nice shooting bow. I used it on at least one elk hunt.
Unfortunately I like to try different bows so trade quite often. And now I limit myself to around 50#. But they do shoot good, and quiet also as was mentioned.
I think I shot CE250’s out of it.

I've owned 2 Kill-ums and currently have one recently produced that I bought from Tim. The handle is a bit beefier than than the previous one I owned and I know of at least one fellow who got a new one and it was not for him. Me I just don't strangle the grip when I shoot and like the mass. Fine shooters and probably the quietest recurve I've shot. I feel certain the Prairie will be a fine shooter.
