G&L Archery Mantis bows were built by Gene Sanders and Larry Holden of Dallas ,Ga. . They are no longer building. There 3pc. longbow was great.

I had one and really liked it. It was well built and a sweet shooter.

Yep, Gene and Larry built some incredible bows. My family has owned 7 different G&L's over the years, we are proud to call both Gene and Larry both friends and family. Gene was a mentor to me when I fell back in love with trad in 99/2000. I made the mistake of selling my last 3pc to Vance right before they retired. Vance has graciously agreed that should I survive him, I gets it back...but that's what it would take to get it back from him! Great bows, beautiful work, great guys who did a lot for traditional archery in Georgia. Here's some pics of that longbow as well as the recurve that my wife still shoots.
