« on: April 03, 2023, 09:46:49 AM »
Hi guys!

Some time ago I posted here a video that I did showing how to make carbon laminated to use in bows.
Now, I did a new video showing all the build of a bows with it.
Hope you like.

That sure makes it look easy doesn’t it?

I especially liked the part of running the face of that carbon over that drum sander. :o :o :o :o.  They call that speed tillering…. :biglaugh:

Interesting. Did you use only Carbon and without any glassfiber?

that is a well made vid about a well made bow!
the process seems familiar - pretty similar to how I make my wooden composites - lots of dust for sure  :biglaugh: it seems you finally put a little more work into the grip-section whereas I put a little more work into the limbs.
do you get extra speed using carbon compared to the same bow made of glass? how thick are your limbs midlimbs? are the carbon limbs thicker than on a same pondage glassbow? just curious...
Cheers
