Stopping by to say Hi!
« on: April 08, 2023, 09:38:25 AM »
It’s been a while since I stopped by.  I’ve had some elbow issues and haven’t been shooting my bow as much.  I’m trying to get that back on track though.  Started shooting my Canon a lot more and photography has kept me in the woods, it hasn’t really helped keep my freezer full though! 😂 Anyway I hope everyone is doing well and get out hunting and shooting!

Thanks! The elbow will never be like it was but it’s a little less painful to shoot, it’s more painful not to do what I love though. So I shoot through the pain and take it day by day.

It seems more and more of us are struggling with some kind of physical ailment that impacts our ability to shoot.

I know it doesn’t always work for everybody, but PT and regular, specific exercises has done wonders for me.  I think stretch bands have been particularly good for me.

I hope you can find something that helps you, Jason. Your photographic skills are wonderful, btw. Best to you in your recovery.
