Rubber boots are for mucking concrete or cleaning the barn, or sitting in a boat in the pouring rain……not hunting. Gortex hiking boots are the way to go…but I do have some taller gortex boots for cold weather too. One size too big for fluffy socks….I live in Oregon, and we hunt in seriously wet conditions out here. Nobody uses rubber boots that I know of….

Nobody uses rubber boots that I know of….Wet conditions aren't the same as walking 3/4 of a mile through a swamp to get to your treestand. Knee high rubber boots are a midwest standard.
