Trad-Gang Bear Quest is BACK after 3 year halt due to COVID stuff.Held in Northeast QUEBEC where i have hunted for more than 30 years. We stay right on a large reservoir in cabin that has running water, hot showers, gas stove, lights we skin & butcher Bears right in camp & have freezers. Some baits we get to by BOAT & MOTOR,shots are up close & personal PERFECT for Stickbows. 1st weeks hunt is JUNE 10th-17th ( leave for Quebec afternoon of JUNE 9th). 2nd weeks hunt JUNE 17th-24th (leave for Quebec afternoon 0f JUNE 16th). I have OPENINGS for 1st week and a couple for 2nd weeks hunt.COST is $2995.00 and includes everything EXCEPT: Getting to & from Camp (we car pool as much as possible to keep travel cost down). Checking in Bear approx  $10, Alcohol & Chew if you partake and Fishing license. This hunt has been a big hit with Trad-Gangers and do not hesitate to ask for references if you have never heard of it or read any of the many past threads about it. I am hoping the bears are OVERSIZED seeing as it has been 3 years since we having been hunting them !!! A deposit of at least $500.00 will secure a spot. You can EMAIL me [email protected] OR TEXT 973-224-5674 do not hesitate to ask any & all questions.

Me me me.....I'm going week two!!!

Jeff, if you ever want to make the trip again and you can make it up to VA, I have a ride for you.  You were there the first trip I went and I haven't missed one since.  I figure if i didn't get eaten on that trip, it won't happen.

I still remember Bowdoc sensing I was a bit "anxious" and he told me, "if they get too close just say 'Boo!'  They are more afraid of you and you are of them."  That was the trip where I shot a bear at 4:30, decided to stay in the stand until dark, and later I had two big boars come in fighting and the smaller +250 lb boar spend 2-3 hours with me at 5 yards and under... the bear that stood up in front of me and his head higher than the stand while I was sitting there 6 feet off the ground.  He was staring at me and clacking his teeth about 12" from my shins.

I later told Bowdoc, "Remember when you told me to just say Boo and they'll run off?  Well, that didn't work."

He looked down, rubbed his chin for a second and then looked up and said "Yeah... that sh#$ never worked for me either", then he laughed and walked off.  Wish he was still here too!

I love these trips!  Lots of great memories and great folks!

Never had an experience like that again, but always pack extra underwear!

Fellas,
Since it has been a few years, don't forget to make sure your passport hasn't expired.

Good luck guys.  Hopefully the smoke from the wildfires won't be an issue.  Be safe.
